This is how it began, a woman and a man
Both different as the day from night
But God had His own plan
She liked what he had to say, He loved her gentle way

But God has seen them through the years
Such precious years

He's a strong man to be sure

And she loves him like no other

It's many years away from that blessed wedding day
And your little ones have grown and gone

You made a family of your own and never left our side
You prayed and God has held us in His hand
